Privacy Policy

ActionMoments is a mobile-first video candidate discovery app. It helps users review local or camera-sourced video material, identify valuable highlight candidates, and export selected clips for later editing.

We design ActionMoments to be local-first. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a future feature, the app does not upload your video content to our servers.

Data We Process

1. Local video files

• Used when you choose a local video for analysis.
• Processed on-device to generate candidate clips and export segments.
• Not uploaded to our servers.

2. Remote camera preview and media metadata

• Used when you connect supported remote cameras such as GoPro or Insta360.
• Includes local network communication, camera SSID information, media list metadata, and preview-related information required for browsing and importing footage.
• Used only to support the remote camera workflow.

3. Device and environment information

• May include Android version, device model, app version, and permission state.
• Used for compatibility, debugging, and release support.

4. Anonymous in-app feedback counters

• ActionMoments records local anonymous usage counters such as export actions, manual trim actions, or quick-skip actions.
• These counters do not contain video content, file paths, or user identifiers.
• They are currently stored locally on-device.

5. Crash and diagnostics data

• At the time of this policy update, no third-party crash reporting SDK is integrated.
• If crash reporting is introduced in a future release, this policy will be updated before rollout.

Permissions We Request

Depending on Android version and whether you use remote camera features, ActionMoments may request Bluetooth permissions, Nearby Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi state permissions, location permission on older Android versions where BLE scanning requires it, and Internet permission for local-network communication with supported remote cameras.

ActionMoments does not request these permissions for advertising or precise location tracking.

• Analyze selected videos on-device
• Discover and connect supported remote cameras
• Preview, import, and export selected clips
• Improve product quality through local diagnostics and future support workflows

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We do not upload your video content to our servers.

If future cloud-assisted features are added, they will be opt-in and documented in this policy before release.

Data Retention

• Temporary caches created for analysis are stored locally on-device and may be cleared by the app.
• Exported clips remain where you choose to store them.
• Local anonymous counters remain on-device unless you clear app data or uninstall the app.

Children

ActionMoments is not designed for children under 13.
