Get the first shortlist in Quick Panel, then open expert mode only when needed

ActionMoments works best as a screening step before full editing. In 2.0.0, Quick Panel handles the fast first pass, and expert mode becomes the follow-up review surface instead of the starting point.

Start from local footage, or unlock external media with one-time Pro for USB/OTG and supported camera workflows.

02

Use Quick Panel for the first shortlist

Quick Panel is the faster first-pass workspace. Trigger one-tap highlights, photo sets, or short videos before going deeper.

03

Open expert mode only when needed

Use expert review for closer confirmation, then export only the results you actually want to keep.

Built to shorten the review step, not replace your editor.

  • Quick Panel-first review for long footage
  • One-tap highlights, photo sets, and short videos
  • Expert follow-up review when you want manual confirmation
  • Export summaries and result writeback that stay aligned with the last workflow action

  • USB/OTG browsing for unsupported camera setups
  • On-device-first screening before the real edit

Website help aligned with the 2.0.0 Quick Panel workflow

The default 2.0.0 path is: choose a source and start analysis -> use Quick Panel for the first shortlist -> open expert mode only when you need closer confirmation. The guide below follows that order.

Quick Panel actions

Quick Panel is the first-pass workspace. One-tap highlights, photo sets, and short videos all start here before you decide whether expert mode is needed.

One-tap highlights

One-tap highlights

Use this first to get the earliest shortlist of moments worth keeping.

Photo sets

Photo sets

Generate image exports directly from the current result without leaving the same workspace.

Short video

Short video

Move straight into short-video generation from the same Quick Panel result.

Expert mode

Open expert mode

Switch into expert mode only when you want closer review or manual confirmation.

Expert review and export

After Quick Panel gives you the first pass, expert mode becomes the closer review surface. Confirm there, then export only the results you want to keep.

Expert mode

Expert follow-up review

Open expert mode when you want closer manual review instead of starting every session in a fully manual workflow.

Alternates

Compare shortlist and alternates

Check the strongest candidates first, then open alternates only when something feels missing.

Basic denoise

When enabled, preview uses basic denoise and export follows the current denoise setting. If preview is muted, you will not hear the difference there.

Export result

Export the current result

After confirmation, export only the highlight, photo-set, or short-video result you really want to carry forward.

Sources and start

The 2.0.0 flow starts from the source. Choose where the media comes from, start analysis, and let Quick Panel prepare the first usable result.

Local

Local video

This is the default place to start when you want the main 2.0.0 workflow as quickly as possible.

External videos

External videos

Open this when you need USB/OTG or supported camera workflows through the one-time Pro unlock.

USB/OTG

USB/OTG

For unsupported direct-camera flows, connect storage to the phone and browse it through USB/OTG.

Camera direct

Camera direct

GoPro and Insta360 can use the current direct camera workflow.

Start analysis

Start analysis

Choose the source first, then start analysis without over-planning the full edit upfront.

Export current result

Carry forward only the results worth keeping

Whether you used one-tap highlights, photo sets, or short video, export only the results you have confirmed before moving into the real edit.

External videos and camera workflows

You do not need to leave the app first. Open External videos in the app, then choose USB/OTG or Camera direct. The rows below follow the 2.0.0 website wording.

External videos

External videos entry

Tap External videos in the source area, then choose USB/OTG or Camera direct from the external videos entry.

Camera direct

Connectable camera

If camera Wi-Fi is not ready yet, the app searches first and may use BLE to wake Wi-Fi. When the camera is ready, open External videos and continue into Camera direct.

🎬 Remote analyze

Remote analyze

After you connect and choose a camera video, tap this button to start remote analysis directly.

Other cameras

Other cameras

If this is not the device you want, tap here to search again and switch. For cameras without direct support, connect their storage to the phone and browse it from the USB/OTG page.

What people usually need before trying the app.

What is Quick Panel?

Quick Panel is the first-pass review workspace in 2.0.0. It helps you reach a usable shortlist quickly before switching to expert mode for closer confirmation.

When should I open expert mode?

Open expert mode after Quick Panel when you want closer manual review, more confirmation, or export control on the current result.

Does basic denoise affect export?

Yes. Export currently follows the same basic denoise toggle you set in preview. If preview is muted you will not hear the difference there, but export still uses the enabled setting.

Does the app upload my raw video?

No. The current Android release keeps raw video on-device in the normal workflow and does not upload it to our servers.

Why does the app ask for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or nearby device permissions?

These permissions are used only for supported remote camera discovery, connection, and media access. They are not used for advertising or precise location tracking.

What does Pro unlock?

Pro is a one-time unlock that adds external media workflows, including USB/OTG media and direct access to supported cameras such as GoPro and Insta360.

Why do some cameras use USB instead of direct access?

Only some camera workflows currently support direct media access. For unsupported cameras, connect the camera storage to the phone by USB and browse it from USB/OTG inside External videos.

Where should I continue editing after export?

ActionMoments is not a full editor. Exported clips are meant to be carried into your preferred editing workflow afterward.
